Group Exercise

 

PHFC offers more than 40 classes each week, and there's one just right for you! Whether you're just starting to exercise or you're already fit, you'll find our classes fun, effective, interactive and designed for your fitness level.

   

Our classes include a variety of activities. high intensity to slow and relaxing, step aerobics, aqua therapy, ZUMBA, body-box, line dancing, boot camp, athletic conditioning, cycling, Cardio-Lo and Silver Sneakers are only a few of the classes we offer.  NOTE:  We reserve the right to modify the schedule as needed. 

   

 

 Group Exercise Descriptions
Yoga

Total mind-body workout featuring cardio conditioning, stretching, balancing and relaxation. This class will challenge beginning, intermediate and advanced yoga participants. All fitness levels.

 

SilverSneakers

Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase strength, range of movement and skills for daily living. (Class is designed for Active Adults, but all ages are welcome).

 

BodyFlex

A strength training, barbell class set to music.   Tone and condition in record time.  Try a BodyFlex class today! All fitness levels.

 

Chizzel, T&T

A high intensity class designed to build strength, endurance and tone using hand weights, body bars and medicine balls.  BLAST THE FAT AND DEFINE THE MUSCLE - Intermediate level class.

 

Step 

A variety of fun combinations and lots of energy combined for a great aerobic workout!  Intermediate level.

 

Cycling

A class designed to mirror a road bike experience. This program brings the mental and physical challenges of outdoor cycling to the studio. This is a great fat-burning class!  All Fitness Levels

 

BodyBox

Use mitts and gloves to enhance your boxing skills.  This class has no complicated choreography to learn.  Be prepared to sweat, this class is high intensity FUN!  Intermediate Level

 

Kickboxin

This high intensity class includes circuits and strength training segments.  This class is recommended for the Intermediate to Advanced Participants.

 

Line Dancing

A dance class for All fitness levels.

 

ZUMBA and Latin-LiteLatin-inspired, dance fitness class. Dynamic, exciting, effective and fun.  All fitness Levels.

 

 

 Aquatic Exercise Class Description
Aquatic Aerobics

The aquatic aerobics class is a 60-minute complete workout that integrates cardiovascular training, strength training and flexibility using the water's resistance and equipment. This class is great for all fitness levels.

 

Aquatic Toning

The toning class is a 45-minute class taught in the warm, therapy pool. This class is designed to tone and sculpt muscles followed by a relaxing stretch at the end.

 

Arthritis ClassThe Arthritis Foundation - Arthritis Class is a 45-minute recreational exercise program designed to accommodate the abilities of individuals with arthritis and other related diseases. This class is taught in the warm pool and includes exercises to improve muscular strength and flexibility, manage pain, and relieve symptoms of arthritis.
