Guest Policy
Princeton Health & Fitness Center allows members to bring guests on a limited basis. The benefit is intended to introduce the facility to your family and friends.

- A member MUST be 18 or older to bring a guest.
- An non-member can be the guest of an active member one time per calendar year. After the one visit, the guest must purchase a Guest Pass, join or discontinue use of the facility.
- All guests must show picture identification and sign the Guest Release Form.
- Parent/Guardians must sign in guests under the age of 18 on their first visit to the facility. This signed consent form will serve for all visits.
- Out-of-Town guests. After coming as a guest of a member one time, the guest can pay a fee of $10.00 per visit.
Children's Policy
- Children under the age of 13 are not allowed in the fitness area unless participating in a class. When not participating, children should be in the childcare areas.
- Members ages 13 - 17 along with their parents are required to read, understand, and sign the Teen Policies & Procedures Form.
Kid's Korner / Kid's Gym
1. Kid's Korner is for children 12 weeks to 5 years.

- You may leave your children in childcare for a maximum of two hours during any one visit to the facility.
- Parents are expected to be in the facility while their children are in childcare. If you leave for outside work, please notify the childcare staff.
- We do not supply diapers. Childcare staff are not allowed to change diapers. However, staff will notify parents of soiled diapers, request that they change them as soon as possible. A private changing area and wipes will be available for parents to use.

1. A parent/guardian must sign their child into childcare by completing the appropriate area on the sign-in sheet at the childcare desk. When the parent returns, the signature will need to match the original signature to allow the child to leave.
2. If a parent drops off their child and wants someone else to pick them up, written permission will be needed on the sign-in sheet or emergency contact. In addition, a picture I.D. is required to verify the identity of the individual picking up the child.
3. In order to ensure a healthy environment for other children, members and staff, we encourage you to refrain from bringing a sick child into the childcare area.
4. We request that parents bring any necessary personal items such as bottles, diapers and extra clothes. We would prefer that you not bring personal toys or snacks. These items are provided by the fitness center.

Racquetball / Wallyball
1. Members may reserve a court for not more than 48 hours in advance. This is done by calling or visiting the front desk.

5. Cardio Theatre hook-ups on the CV equipment will allow you to listen to the televisions provided on the fitness floor. Personal headphones can be plugged into the boxes. Headphones are also available for purchase at the front desk.

MEMBERSHIP ACCOUNT POLICIES
Membership Classifications Defined
A Joining Fee is a required payment for starting new memberships.

- Single memberships are for individuals 18 years of age or older.
- Couple memberships are for two adults, who live at the same physical address.
- Add-ons include children under the age of 19. When an add-on reaches the ages of 19, he/she will be required to set up their own membership. No additional joining fee will be charged if the membership is set up within one month of their 19 birthday.
- Corporate memberships are available to businesses with a discounted joining fee, if a minimum of five employees join the facility. For more information, please see a sales representative.

Towels
Towels are an amenity that we are happy to provide for our members, but appreciate a conservative use of them. Please limit your use of towels to one to two per visit or bring your own towels from home. Towels are signed out at the front desk reception area. Once you are finished with your towels, please return them by dropping them into the yellow towel bins back at the front desk.

- No street shoes will be allowed in the Kid's Gym, Racquetball Courts or any exercise areas. Please bring a change of shoes for use in the facility
- Members are not allowed to wear sandals while exercising on the second floor.
- Individuals wearing offensive slogans/pictures on shirts and shorts, revealing or excessively suggestive attire will not be permitted to exercise in the facility.
- Members must wear a shirt at all times while exercising.
- Swimmers must dry off and have a shirt on before entering the lobby area.
Lost & Found / Valuables
Princeton Health & Fitness Center will not be responsible for articles lost, stolen or damaged in, on or about the center. You are advised to leave all valuables at home or locked in your car before entering the center.

Special Events
Announced special events will have precedence for facility usage. Please refer to our newsletter and program schedules for a listing of special events and the areas of the facility they will occupy. Management reserves the right to close the facility for not more than one week per year for necessary repair and maintenance.

FACILITY ENTITLEMENTS AND POLICIES
Aquatics
Everyone is required to shower before entering the pool Members and guests are advised not to use the pool when alone.
Anyone under 8 years of age must have an adult in the pool with him/her at all times.

Lap Pool
- The ideal temperature for the lap pool is 82 - 84 degrees.
- Lap swim is for individuals 18 and older only. Please observe lap swim etiquette. If crowded, please inform a like placed swimmer that you would like to share a lane and swim a circle pattern. Seventy lengths equal one mile.
- Classes (group exercise, lessons, fitness swim, swim team) may have exclusive use of the pool. During water aerobics, those 12 and under must be in the opposite pool with a parent present. Those ages 13 - 18 must also be in the opposite pool during water aerobics. Adults may also swim or use the pools during this time. Check the pool bulletin board or at the Front Desk for details.
Warm Water Therapy Pool
- The ideal temperature for the therapy pool is 95 - 98 degrees.
- Activities will include aquatic physical therapy, arthritis classes, parties and open swim. See the pool bulletin board for details.
- Water walking and range of motion stretching will be available to members 18 years and older during specific times. Ask the Front Desk for details.
Sauna and Steam Rooms
- Swimsuits or towel wraps are required when using the sauna or steam room.
- The sauna and steam rooms are available in both the men's and women's locker rooms during all business hours.
- The sauna and steam rooms are restricted to individuals 13 years of age or older.
Kid's Gym
- For activity options and times, please consult the Kid's Gym schedule posted on the Kid's Gym door or ask the Front Desk.
- Adults and teens may access the Kid's Gym during times not scheduled for Kid's Gym.
- Gym equipment, including basketballs, volleyballs, soccer balls, etc. will be available in the gym or for checkout at the Front Desk.
- Responsible behavior and proper use of all games and equipment is required.
- Privileges of the gym or other facilities may be revised if inappropriate behavior is reported.
Changing Membership Types
- Any changes in your EFT account must be made before the 25th of the month for changes to be effective for the next month.
- All changes must be made in the Sales Department or Business Office and the member's signature is required. No changes will be made over the phone.
- Changes in membership types will be charged a prorated administration fee and joining fee where applicable.
Inactive Membership Status
- Upon submission of verification of relocation or illness, any member in good standing may convert to inactive status for a period of at lease 30 days, but more more than 90 days.
- In case of a medical emergency, where inactive status is required to be longer than 90 days, a physician's statement is required.
- Inactive membership fees are $15.00 per month. Upon reactivation of the membership, normal monthly billing will proceed at the applicable rate.
Cancellation / Termination
- To cancel a membership, a signed written notice must be received in the Sales Department by the 25th of the month. The membership will be cancelled the 1st of the following month.
- Cancellations require member's signature. No cancellation will be made over the phone.
- Management reserves the right to terminate a membership immediately in person or by giving 30 days written notice to the member using certified mail. If notice is by certified mail, it shall be addressed to member's home address shown on the membership application.
- Upon termination by management, a prorated refund will be made to a member, based on the effective date of termination
Dues Adjustment
Dues are subject to adjustment as determined by management. A period of one month's notice will be given to members of any upcoming adjustments.

MISCELLANEOUS
Member's Health Warranty
Member warrants and represents that he/she has no physical or mental disability, impairment or ailment preventing him/her from engaging in active or passive exercise that will be detrimental to his/her health, safety or physical condition if he/she does so engage or participate. This representative is made by member knowing that management will rely upon the same respect to issuance of this membership. Member acknowledges and agrees that it is his/her responsibility to consult with his/her personal physician prior to and during the course of this membership.
